The 2 Hour PA Appraisal Law Seminar includes coverage of the history of the regulation of appraisers in theCommonwealth of Pennsylvania and the enabling legislation. Including the Real Estate License andRegistration Act, the Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery and Enforcement Act, The Real Estate Appraisers Certification Act, the Assessors Certification Law, and the Appraisal Management Company Registration Act, along with amendments.
Information on the makeup and the powers and duties of the Pennsylvania State Board of Certified Real EstateAppraisers is discussed. The program includes an explanation of the types of certifications, and licenses available in the Commonwealth and the requirements for certification and licensure. The program alsoincludes coverage the requirements and responsibilities for trainees and supervisors, recertificationrequirements, disciplinary actions the Board may take, requirements for proper use of certification number and title, and the most common errors found by board reviewers.
