In November 2022, an Allegheny County Judge ruled that the county had “cooked the books” in its sales validation process, artificially inflating assessment-to-market-value ratio by over 17 percentage points! If you or your clients have participated in assessment appeals since 2017, you most likely are overpaying taxes.

Join CREW Pittsburgh and the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of the Appraisal Institute as we host Anthony Barna, MAI, of IRR, and Sharon DiPaolo, Esquire, of Siegel Jennings Property Tax Law, to break down the impact on taxpayers and update us on the legal battle to remedy the wrong.
